Cowrie Print

Cowries are the first form of currency. Their hard shells, subtle variation of form, lacquered shields - were transferred from hand to hand as an exchange of goods. This shell is dependable, magical, safe, and comforting. 

8"x10" print, matted versions are hand embellished with gold leaf around the bevel of the mat. Unmated prints are hand embellished with gold leaf that cocoons the seashell form. Printed on recycled paper. Comes in a polysleeve made from plant based materials.
